ABOUT
HANA GOTTESMAN
Hana Gottesman has performed throughout the United States. She won the Coeur d'Alene Symphony National Young Artist Competition and the Eastside Symphony Young Soloist Competition. A finalist at the Postacchini International Violin Competition in Italy, she has been a three-time First Prize winner at the Simon-Fiset/SMTA Competition. Winner of the Seattle Young Artist Music Festival Concerto Competition and Festival Medal, Hana was also the Washington State and Northwest Division winner of the 2024-2025 Music Teachers National Association competition.
Hana has performed as soloist with the Eastside, Coeur d'Alene, Northwest, Bellevue Symphony Orchestras, Philharmonia Northwest, and in the Ross ArtsChamber Music series and as soloist with Sonoma Strings.
Born and raised in Washington State, Hana is an avid reader, swimmer, and enjoys language studies including Japanese and Spanish. Hana is a medal winner and is certified in abacus mathematics. Hana has studied violin with Jan Coleman, and continues her studies with Simon James.
