Sasha Varchenko, 16, studies violin with Mr. Grigory Kalinovsky. Her love for the violin began at the age of seven after reading an article on young Beethoven. Throughout the years, Sasha has been privileged to receive guidance from accomplished teachers such as Victor Wittmann, Candida J. Wurman Yoshikai, and Leonid Grauman. Sasha has won several prestigious competitions, including the "Jugend Musiziert" Competition. Her skill and dedication were further highlighted when she had the honor of performing as a soloist accompanied by an orchestra. Captivating audiences with the second and third movements of A. Vivaldi's Concerto in A minor. Sasha's continued growth and success in her craft were further enhanced by a masterclass with the celebrated violinist, Jennifer Koh.
